This policy explains how you can request deletion of your 5àsec account and the personal data associated with it, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
It applies to the 5àsec customer mobile application (in.a5asec.app) and to personal data collected through 5àsec digital services operated by Invision Brands Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
1. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data through any of the following:
- in the 5àsec app: Profile → Account → Delete Account;
- by email to contact@5asec.co.in from your registered email address or with your registered mobile number, using the subject line “Data Deletion Request”;
- by calling customer support on +91 92173 60033.
We may ask you to verify your identity (for example, by confirming a one-time password sent to your registered mobile number) before acting on a request, to protect your account.
2. What Is Deleted
On a verified request, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the personal data linked to your account, including:
- your name, mobile number and email address;
- saved pickup and delivery addresses;
- device and push-notification tokens;
- app usage, diagnostic and location data linked to your account.
3. What May Be Retained
Certain records may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised:
- transaction and invoice records required under tax, accounting and financial regulations;
- records necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms;
- data we are otherwise legally required to keep.
Retained records are kept only as long as necessary for the stated purpose and are not used to re-create your account.
4. Timeline
We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete verified deletions within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law. Once completed, the action is permanent and your account cannot be recovered.
